Standard Motors
These motors are routinely used in low to high volume production applications. Our Standard motors offer standard customizations, and come with extended customer and product support. Customizations available include motor windings for optimal performance under your specific operating conditions, various shaft customizations; and customized motor leads and connectors.
These motor are assembled at our main manufacturing facility in Northern California, where we can quickly provide a prototype (usually within one week), so you can start testing without delay.
Standard motors come with a two-year warranty, extended customer support, and extended product support. Standard motors are also available with REACH or Conflict Minerals certifications.

We’ve Reinvented the Step Motor
Conventional hybrid stepper motor utilizes a permanent magnet in the rotor. Our patented design uses a ring magnet in the stator instead. This drastically reduces the detent torque (unenergized drag torque) because the magnetic flux path is able to reach over the stator windings and go through only the outer edge of the rotor. Reducing detent torque improves accuracy, smooth operation and reduces noise. Best of all, modifying the magnet location does not change the dynamic torque.
Zen technology significantly reduces vibration without the use of external dampers: this results in extremely smooth and accurate motion.
Cost effective alternative to 5-phase systems
With use of our Zen Technology we’re able to reduce resonance by up to 50% over a standard motor. This makes the ZEN motors an attractive and cost effective alternative to costly 5-phase systems.
Extreme accuracy
Z-Series motor maintains ±1.5 arc minutes error under 64x microstepping. Industry average can range from ±4.5 to ±18 arc minutes in 0.9° step motors.
Quiet Operation
By eliminating detent torque, the motor operates substantially quieter than regular hybrid stepper motor.
